Travel size guide book with lots of information. However, having visited many of the parks and lodges mentioned, I would suggest more photos of each to truly portray the majesty of these unique American icons.

Book is very inclusive. It even gives specific rooms to stay in and the reasons for it. Gives ideas for your stay.
My last edition was dated to the 1990's . It is great that the authors have updated the format and presentation on the properties. I love it as it has all the famous lodges.. but also the lesser known ones too. We only stay at NP lodges as it adds so much to the park experience.
